Fundamentals of Ophthalmic Medical Assisting DVD:Shows ophthalmic medical personnel how to perform a variety of basic tests. 1999; reviewed for currency in 2006; 47 minutes.
The Primer: Introduces beginning clerical and clinical staff to basic concepts in ophthalmology and to working in an ophthalmology office.
JCAHPO Learning Systems Software: The interactive software is easy to use, easy to understand and offers benefits beyond traditional classroom training. Text-based instruction includes an interactive glossary to explain unfamiliar terms and video demonstrates actual procedures. The interactive functions allow ophthalmic professionals to manipulate equipment and view patient response as if it were a real life examination. Program contents: six multi-media courses on the CD. Six JCAHPO A credits (one credit per course) are complimentary with the successful completion of the CE quizzes.
